As parents of a child who was diagnosed with cancer we know first hand how frightening and absolutely devastating hearing the words 'your child has cancer' is.
The diagnosis impacts on the whole family and it can bring with it financial implications along with stress, strain and worry. It impacts greatly on all the immediate family members.
The reason Blackpool illuminations was chosen is so families can have a couple of nights away as a family having fun, not worrying about the cost AND creating some much needed happy memories along the way.
We feel children of all ages can enjoy all it has to offer. The bright lights are magical and there is so much to do and see. It also holds many a special and happy memory for Harrison as a child.
So, please help us to raise funds for these trips so that we can give these children and their families something to look forward to.
If anyone would like to get involved with us to raise funds or volunteer please get in touch.
Perhaps even holding a coffee morning in your local town? If any businesses/organisations would like to come on board we would be so grateful. Every penny helps.
We may be a small charity but our ideas are big and our dreams even bigger.
We are always being asked how can people help us. We simply ask for people to host their own fundraising events on our behalf, we believe that's how word travels faster! Contact us with your ideas and we will promote your event on this website and social media. We love our little helpers! We also have collection tins in stock for business premises.
